Everybody Digs Bill Evans is a 2026 biographical drama directed by Grant Gee that explores a pivotal chapter in the life of legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans. Rather than telling the story of his entire career, the film focuses on the aftermath of the tragic death of bassist Scott LaFaro, Evans' closest musical collaborator, and the profound grief that nearly drove him away from music.

Starring Anders Danielsen Lie as Bill Evans, the film paints an intimate portrait of an artist struggling with loss, addiction, and the weight of genius while searching for a way back to the piano.

Elegant, melancholic and deeply human, Everybody Digs Bill Evans is a moving tribute to one of jazz's greatest innovators, revealing how grief, love and creativity shaped the man behind the music. 🎹✨
